WesAudio ngOmniBox: Your Complete Analogue Mix & Mastering Chain in One Box
One Box. Your Analogue Finishing Chain. Fully Recallable.
For decades, engineers have built mix and mastering chains around carefully selected analogue processors, combining EQ, compression, saturation, clipping and stereo enhancement to shape the final sound. The WesAudio ngOmniBox takes this established approach and brings it together into a single, flexible analogue processor with something traditional hardware chains cannot easily provide: complete digital recall.

A Complete Analogue Processing Architecture
The ngOmniBox is built around a flexible stereo signal path that combines a passive EQ, bus compressor, saturation, clipper and stereo width processing. Dedicated input and output stages complete the architecture, while external insert points allow additional analogue processors to be incorporated into the chain.
Rather than forcing every mix through the same processing path, each processing block can be independently activated or bypassed. This allows engineers to use exactly the processing required for each project.

Choose Your EQ and Compressor Order
One of the most useful aspects of the ngOmniBox architecture is the ability to change the order of the passive EQ and bus compressor. Engineers can instantly select either EQ → COMP or COMP → EQ routing.
This provides two fundamentally different approaches to processing the mix and makes it easy to compare how tonal shaping interacts with dynamics processing without having to physically repatch a traditional hardware chain.
Musical Passive EQ
At the centre of the tonal-shaping section is a fully analogue passive equalizer designed for broad, musical adjustments. It can be positioned before or after the compressor, making it suitable for both shaping the signal before dynamics processing and refining the final tonal balance afterwards.
Because the EQ is part of the wider processing architecture, it can also be bypassed independently when compression, saturation or other stages are doing the work required.
Analogue Bus Compression for Mix-Bus Glue
The dedicated analogue stereo bus compressor is designed for mix-bus glue, dynamics control and final mix shaping. It can operate independently from the other processing blocks, allowing engineers to build the chain around the dynamics characteristics of each mix.
Whether used as part of a broader finishing chain or as a standalone processing stage, the compressor forms an important part of the ngOmniBox‘s analogue processing architecture.
Add Harmonic Character with Saturation
The dedicated saturation section provides another dimension of analogue processing, adding harmonic character and density independently from the EQ and compressor.
Its fully variable control allows the amount of saturation to be adjusted according to the material and the desired result, while independent bypass means it can easily be removed from the chain for comparison.

Analogue Clipping for Peak Control and Loudness
The ngOmniBox also incorporates a dedicated analogue clipper designed for peak control, additional loudness and transient shaping.
Having clipping available within the same processing chain makes it possible to manage peaks as part of the overall analogue finishing process, while its independent bypass keeps the architecture flexible.
Shape the Stereo Image
Stereo width processing provides dedicated control over the stereo image, allowing engineers to make precise adjustments as part of the final processing chain.
Combined with EQ, compression, saturation and clipping, the width section gives ngOmniBox a broad range of applications across mixing and mastering workflows.
External Processing When You Need More
The ngOmniBox isn’t designed to lock you into a closed system. A dedicated input insert allows external analogue processing to be integrated into the signal chain, while the output insert provides another point for incorporating additional hardware.
The output insert can operate in either Stereo or Mid/Side, giving engineers additional flexibility when integrating external processors at the final stage of the ngOmniBox chain.
Complete Control from the Input to the Output
The input section provides a fully controllable stereo input level, integrated high-pass filtering and input level metering. At the other end of the chain, the output section provides controllable stereo output level, output metering and precise final gain staging.
This provides clear control over the signal entering and leaving the complete processing chain, while the dedicated insert points make it easier to integrate additional analogue equipment.

Digital Recall for an Analogue Signal Path
Perhaps the defining feature of the ngOmniBox is its ability to combine analogue processing with complete digital recall. Every analogue parameter can be controlled digitally, allowing engineers to save and instantly recall processing configurations.
For professionals working across multiple projects or revisions, this can dramatically simplify the workflow. Instead of photographing hardware settings or manually documenting every control position, the complete configuration can be recalled as part of the digital session.
A/B/C Comparison and LCD Visualisation
Critical processing decisions often come down to subtle differences. The ngOmniBox provides A/B/C comparison, allowing engineers to evaluate different processing configurations quickly.
An integrated LCD display provides detailed visualisation of parameter values, giving engineers clear feedback while making adjustments directly from the hardware.
DAW Integration and Automation
The digital control system also integrates with the DAW through a dedicated plug-in, providing control, automation and recall directly from the session.
This makes the ngOmniBox particularly well suited to modern hybrid studios, where engineers want the sound and signal path of analogue hardware but also need the convenience, repeatability and automation of a digital production environment.
A Modern Approach to Analogue Mixing and Mastering
The WesAudio ngOmniBox takes the concept of an analogue finishing chain and rethinks how that chain can operate in a modern studio. Instead of assembling separate EQ, compressor, saturation, clipping and width processors, engineers have access to all of these stages within one flexible stereo processor.
More importantly, the entire analogue processing configuration can be digitally controlled, automated and recalled. This provides the workflow benefits of digital production without replacing the analogue signal path.

Built for Hybrid Studio Workflows
For mastering engineers, mix engineers, producers and professional recording facilities, the ngOmniBox provides a practical way to integrate analogue processing into a modern DAW-based environment.
Its flexible routing, independently bypassable processing blocks, external inserts and full digital recall make it suitable for workflows where sonic flexibility and repeatability are equally important.
