The Grace Design ROXi is a professional microphone/instrument preamp in pedal format with EQ, gain control, signal routing, and more. It is designed to accept mic or line-level signals making it ideal for vocalists and instrumentalists in live performance settings. Access the boost, FX, loop and mute functions via two footswitches. Bend and shape your tone using the 3-band EQ section which features High, Low and sweepable Mid parameters. ROXi brings Grace Design’s renowned preamp quality to the pedal form-factor for increased portability, expansive headroom, and an extremely quiet signal.

GAIN AND BOOST

The gain control on the front panel allows you to adjust the gain on both main and amp outs. The main control features an impressive +55 dB of gain! Boost, controllable by left footswitch, gives you up to +10 dB. The right footswitch lets you conveniently direct the signal to the pedal’s tuner out for a professional workflow.

EQ

The EQ sections consists of 3-band EQ section for bass, treble, and mids with a ±10 dB cut or boost for both. This gives you the option to either radically shape your tone or to make slight adjustments. The midband is sweepable 175 Hz to 4 kHz for everything from heavily scooped mids to a more, vibey effect when driven. The low and high bands can be changed via internal jumpers. The highpass filter with 75 Hz and 150 Hz floors and -12 dB rolloff per octave can be used by vocalists for pleasing musical results. This extensive EQ range makes ROXi your go-to preamp for both vocal and instruments!

I/O AND ROUTING

ROXi features extensive output, function and routing options. XLR DI and 1/4″ amp outs can be used for simultaneously sending a signal to dual destinations. A phantom power switch allows you to engage phantom for your condenser microphone. The 1/4″ input of the XLR combo jack has both high and low gain modes – the high being an incredible max of +55 dB. A total of six dipswitches can by used to toggle between output levels, and EQ features. A 9V onboard power supply features a 2.1mm terminal out for a total of 500 mA current for powering pedals.
