IGS Audio DACO – Rediscover Music, the Analog Way
DACO is a high-end digital-to-analog converter created for demanding listeners who want to experience their digital music with the depth and character associated with analogue playback. Designed as the central connection between your digital sources and amplification system, DACO combines high-performance AKM conversion technology with a transformer-balanced tube output stage to deliver clarity, dimensionality, warmth and effortless dynamics.

Precision Digital Conversion Meets Tube Character
At the heart of DACO is a dual AK4493SEQ conversion stage and AK4118 digital receiver from AKM, providing precise decoding across a wide range of digital formats. The digital section maintains accuracy and transparency, while the analogue stage introduces the organic character and musical expression of tube circuitry. The signal passes through a transformer-coupled, transformer-balanced tube stage before reaching custom UTM Industry transformers, creating a carefully considered bridge between modern digital precision and analogue emotion.

Versatile Connectivity for Modern Audio Systems
DACO is designed to integrate into a wide range of contemporary Hi-Fi systems, offering an extensive selection of digital inputs including AES/EBU, S/PDIF, ADAT, USB and Bluetooth. USB supports sampling rates up to 384 kHz as well as DSD64, DSD128, DSD256 and DSD512, while the other digital inputs provide support for sampling rates up to 192 kHz depending on the connection. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue outputs provide flexible integration with a wide range of amplifiers and systems.

A Tube Output Stage Without Global Negative Feedback
The analogue section features two NOS military-grade 6N6P-VI tubes, with 6N30P tubes also supported, alongside a GZ34 tube-rectified ultra-low-noise linear power supply. Designed without global negative feedback, DACO focuses on preserving natural dynamics and musical expression while delivering an extended frequency response of 8 Hz to 80 kHz ±1 dB.

Crafted to Be Seen and Built to Be Heard
DACO‘s engineering is housed within a precisely crafted 3 mm CNC-machined aluminium enclosure measuring 380 × 290 mm and weighing 6 kg. A 2-inch OLED display clearly shows the selected digital input and sampling rate, while the dedicated input selector and integrated IR receiver provide intuitive operation. The result is a sophisticated component that looks equally at home in a modern listening room or a carefully curated high-end audio system.

IGS Audio PHOM – Vinyl Reborn, Perfectly Amplified
Where DACO brings tube character to digital playback, PHOM is designed to unlock the full potential of vinyl. This high-end tube phono stage supports both MM and MC cartridges and is engineered around a fully analogue signal path, carefully selected tubes and passive RIAA equalisation. The result is a phono stage focused on preserving the subtle detail, dynamics and emotional character contained within every record.

Transformer-Coupled MC Input for Low-Noise Performance
PHOM‘s MC input is transformer-coupled, allowing the delicate signal from a moving-coil cartridge to be amplified at the earliest stage while maintaining extremely low noise. Combined with selectable cartridge loading, this provides the flexibility needed to precisely match PHOM to a wide range of MC cartridges and optimise the performance of the complete analogue system.

Precision Through Passive RIAA Equalisation
At the centre of PHOM‘s architecture is a fully passive RIAA equalisation network positioned between two tube amplification stages. Rather than relying on feedback-based equalisation, the passive design is intended to provide exceptional accuracy and transparency while preserving signal integrity. Premium NOS Paper in Oil capacitors, Silver Mica and Mundorf EVO components further reinforce the carefully considered analogue signal path.

Hand-Selected Tubes and Tube-Rectified Power Supply
PHOM employs a quartet of hand-selected and matched NOS 6N1P-EV military-grade tubes in its two-stage cascode amplifier design. A GZ34 tube rectifier works alongside a large choke in the linear power supply to provide effective voltage smoothing and soft-start behaviour, helping support stable operation and extended tube life.

Precision Cartridge Matching
PHOM provides extensive adjustment options for cartridge matching, including selectable MC resistive loading and MM capacitive loading. With gain exceeding 60 dB for MM cartridges and up to 80 dB for MC cartridges, PHOM is designed to accommodate a broad range of cartridge requirements while allowing listeners to fine-tune the interface between cartridge and phono stage.
Minimalist Polish Engineering
Like DACO, PHOM is housed in a refined 3 mm CNC-machined aluminium enclosure measuring 380 × 290 mm. Its minimalist front panel features a single central power indicator, while the rear provides RCA connections, MM/MC selection, cartridge grounding and power connectivity. Ventilation openings on the top panel assist heat dissipation, while the CNC-cut PHOM logo adds a subtle finishing touch.

Two Sources, One Passion for Music
DACO and PHOM serve different sources, but share the same fundamental philosophy: music should be reproduced with precision without sacrificing emotion. DACO brings analogue character and tube warmth to digital playback, while PHOM is designed to reveal the depth and natural character already contained within the grooves of a record.
Built for the Dedicated Listener
From AKM digital conversion and transformer-balanced tube circuitry in DACO to passive RIAA equalisation, transformer-coupled MC amplification and NOS tubes in PHOM, both components demonstrate IGS Audio‘s commitment to carefully engineered analogue sound. Premium components, custom transformers, robust power supplies and precision-machined Polish enclosures complete two products created for listeners who want to experience their music rather than simply hear it.
Rediscover Your Music
Whether your collection lives on a high-resolution digital library, streaming platform or shelves filled with vinyl, the DACO and PHOM offer two distinctive paths towards a more engaging listening experience. DACO brings the emotion of analogue to digital sources, while PHOM lets your records reveal their full analogue character. Together, they represent two beautifully engineered expressions of the same goal: getting closer to the music.
