The Royal Mu Surround APB plug-in is McDSP’s most advanced analog processing tool to date. With dual compressor and limiter chains, engineers can choose between independent or linked control to shape their mix dynamics exactly as needed.
A 3-way buss matrix provides additional routing flexibility, allowing users to assign any channel set (e.g., LR, Center, Side, Rear, Top, LFE) to either compressor/limiter chain. Additionally, analog biasing and saturation enhance warmth and tonal richness while fully analog compressor and limiter circuits ensure pristine sound quality.
