Novation FLpad Mini – Compact Portable Grid Controller for FL Studio

OVERVIEW

Co-developed with Image-Line, the Novation FLpad Mini is the compact grid controller for FL Studio – a fast, portable way to make beats wherever you are, and one of the only two FL grid controllers currently available, along with its larger brother, the FLpad.

By drawing upon the Image-Line team’s deep understanding of their core customers’ needs, along with Novation’s own heritage in category-defining grid controllers and grooveboxes, Novation has been able to bring an intuitive, hardware-like experience to sequencing, editing, and performing beats in FL Studio.

Trigger samples in the Channel Rack, step sequence up to four instruments at once, play drums and melodies on the RGB-backlit pads, and create and edit Patterns on the go. With six months of FL Studio included, you can get started right away.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

Sequence Your Ideas

Quickly create up to four melodies, basslines, chord sequences, and drum patterns at once using FLpad Mini’s colour-coded grid. And with direct access to the Graph Editor, you can edit velocity, pitch, note repeats, and more without breaking your flow.

Play Drums, Basslines, and Melodies

Prefer to play parts live? Tap in beats and melodies on FLpad Mini’s grid; you can play it like a keyboard, lock everything to a particular scale, or load dedicated layouts for FPC, Slicex, and Fruity Slicer.

Navigate and Control Your Projects

Start and stop playback, undo/redo, quantise, and more with FLpad Mini’s buttons. You can also navigate your sequencer and Channel Rack, access the Score Log, and turn the grid into a row of faders with Channel Rack Mixer mode.

Made for Your FL Studio Projects

Sequencer view allows you to play up to four Channel Rack instruments at once, sequence them, or even do both at the same time. For even more flexibility, use Novation Components to create custom control layouts that work exactly the way you want.

Everything You Need to Make Beats

FLpad Mini includes a six-month trial of FL Studio Producer Edition, giving you everything you need to record, edit, mix, and master your music, right out of the box. It includes 90+ instruments and effects plus audio recording and unlimited audio clips, tracks, and patterns. You also get a selection of additional instruments and effects from some of the biggest names in the business.

Enjoy Three Years of Warranty

Wherever you happen to be in the world, you can rely on a three-year warranty if any Novation hardware needs repairing or replacing due to a manufacturing fault.
