The SAMAR Audio Design MF65A Stereo Set brings together two factory-matched active ribbon microphones for engineers demanding uncompromising stereo accuracy and consistency. Based on the acclaimed MF65A platform, each microphone features ultra-low-noise active electronics, a condenser-like output level and carefully optimised ribbon loading that reduces dependency on high-gain preamps while preserving the unmistakable depth, warmth and realism that ribbon microphones are known for.

Every microphone is handcrafted in SAMAR Audio Design’s Salt Lake City workshop using precision CNC-machined components manufactured entirely in-house. Custom toroidal transformers, precision ribbon adjustment mechanisms and exceptionally tight manufacturing tolerances ensure both microphones perform as a perfectly matched stereo pair. The included premium storage case protects the microphones, while compatibility with the optional Blumlein stereo mount enables highly accurate coincident stereo recording.
