At its core, the BF-S MKIII features an ultra-high impedance input that preserves the full character of any instrument, paired with a linear power supply that enables ultra-quiet, high-voltage tube operation. The all-tube two-band EQ is tuned by ear for maximum musicality, while the Colour control introduces pure, tube-generated second-order harmonics, allowing subtle warmth or richer saturation without masking detail. A brick-wall 50 Hz high-pass filter keeps low-frequency rumble in check, ensuring clean, controlled recordings.
