POSEIDON is the dedicated low-frequency extension for SELENE monitoring systems. Designed as a passive subwoofer pair powered directly by SELENE’s EXCore amplifier and DSP, POSEIDON integrates seamlessly without external amplification or bass management. A high-excursion 16cm Epique MMAG driver delivers deep, controlled bass from a compact enclosure, extending SELENE into a true 3-way system.

Zero-phase LR4 crossover integration preserves phase coherence and transient accuracy, ensuring reliable translation for immersive, stereo, and low-frequency-critical work.

Why is it Different?

POSEIDON takes a different approach – high linear excursion, controlled integration, and system-level calibration through EXCore. SYSTEM INTEGRATION & CALIBRATION

POSEIDON contains no internal amplification or DSP. All power, crossover integration, time alignment, and calibration are handled by SELENE’s EXCore unit. When connected, EXCore applies the appropriate crossover and system calibration automatically, ensuring POSEIDON integrates as a seamless extension of the SELENE monitors. Over-the-air firmware and calibration updates applied to EXCore extend to the complete SELENE + POSEIDON system.
