SYSTEM INTEGRATION & CALIBRATION
SELENE is powered by the external EXCore unit, which provides amplification, crossover integration, and system calibration for each speaker pair. Each SELENE system is individually measured and calibrated to ensure consistent frequency response and phase behaviour across channels. Pure monitoring DSP linearises the loudspeaker itself rather than compensating for the room, ensuring honest playback and reliable translation. Over-the-air firmware and calibration updates allow SELENE systems to improve over time as Ex Machina’s measurement models advance.
