OVERVIEW

The A200 MK2 by KSdigital is a compact 3-way reference monitor in Cherry finish that utilises phase-linear FIRTEC™ technology. This advanced technology ensures that all frequencies are radiated simultaneously, resulting in precise and accurate sound reproduction for sound engineers. The A200mk2’s tonal neutrality and timeliness make it suitable for various professional production processes, including recording, mixing, and mastering.

The A200 MK2 features a new mid-high-range unit with a 3″ midrange dome and a 1″ tweeter in an aluminum waveguide. This design creates a homogeneous sound field, allowing for seamless operation in both vertical and horizontal orientations. The 10″ high-performance bass driver delivers powerful low-frequency response above 28Hz. The amplifiers and power supplies are meticulously designed to ensure minimal distortion and exceptional clarity.

KSdigital’s patented FIRTEC system filters produce phase-linear and timely reproduction across the entire frequency range. The MT/HT waveguide not only conceals housing edges but also linearizes the frequency response through digital signal processing. The A200 offers XLR inputs for both analog and digital (24-bit / up to 192 KHz) connections.

The A200 is equipped with high and low shelving filters on the amp, allowing for quick setup and room adjustment. For additional flexibility, the optional KSD RC provides additional internal filters. The monitor also allows direct control of the listening volume, ensuring a lossless digital connection from the master output at full-scale level.

One of the A200’s standout features is its converterless connection (DDD) using three PWM power amplifiers, each delivering 250 W RMS power. This direct digital connection eliminates converter losses, resulting in exceptional resolution and authenticity of the program material.
