Dutch Audio MSM1 Mid Side Machine

The MSM1 is a Mid/Side encoder/decoder that let’s you process any stereo device connected to the inserts in either stereo mode or Mid/Side mode. When set to stereo (encode/decode off), the MSM1 is 100% passive, when set to MS, it will pass the active mid/side circuitry. Both encoder and decoder can be used separately from each-other. In normal MS mode, both enoder and decoder should be active.

The width control let’s you change the level of the side channel, making the stereo image more narrow or wide. The gain range is -6.5dB till + 3.5dB in 23 steps for easy recall. Next to that, the width circuit can be enabled or disabled for instant AB with a dedicated pushbutton. Mid and Side channels can be muted seperately to listen to just the Mid or Side channel with their own dedicated buttons.
