Lynx LT-HD2 (ProTools HD & HDX) for Aurora(n)
OVERVIEW
The Lynx LT‑HD2 card transforms your Aurora(n) converter into a fully compliant Pro Tools HD interface by emulating the behavior of Avid’s HD I/O hardware – eliminating the need for delay compensation and ensuring full compatibility with HD Core, Accel Core, HDX, or HD Native systems. Installation is simple: plug in mini‑DigiLink cables and Pro Tools will automatically detect Aurora(n), giving you control over clocking, routing, and I/O directly within PT’s settings.
Thanks to Lynx’s proprietary SynchroLock 2™ word‑clock system, this card delivers extremely low jitter, improved stability, and support for longer DigiLink cable runs. With up to 32 channels of analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion on a single Aurora(n) unit paired with an LM-DIG module, and full sample-rate support up to 192 kHz, LT‑HD2 gives you professional-grade performance with streamlined workflow and world-class audio fidelity.
Note: The LT-HD2 is not compatible with the classic (silver) Aurora or Hilo.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
ProTools HD/HDX Compatibility:
Transforms Aurora(n) into a native Pro Tools HD interface, recognized as Avid HD I/O – no special drivers or workarounds needed.
Up to 32 Channels with Full Sample Rates:
Supports full channel count at up to 24-bit/192 kHz, even at higher settings, without sacrificing I/O capacity.
Zero Delay Compensation Needed:
Latency is matched exactly to Avid hardware, so no manual delay adjustments are required in Pro Tools.
SynchroLock 2 Clocking:
Lynx’s high‑precision clock technology reduces jitter drastically and supports longer DigiLink cable runs with excellent stability.
Plug-and-Play Setup:
Connect to HD Core, Accel Core, HDX, or Native with standard mini-DigiLink cables; Aurora(n) is recognized immediately in Pro Tools.
Made in the USA:
Designed and manufactured by Lynx Studio Technology in California for guaranteed quality and reliability.
