Bringing a classic synthesizer back to life is always a massive undertaking that we want to do right. The SOLINA STRING ENSEMBLE is one such classic. We’ve worked hard to authentically reproduce this iconic ‘70s analog synthesizer to bring it into the hands of modern musicians. The Behringer SOLINA STRING ENSEMBLE features violin, viola, trumpet, horn, cello and contrabass instruments as well as controls for tuning, crescendo, bass and volume just like the original revision B. It achieves its iconic multi-orchestral sounds through divide-down technology albeit in a more compact enclosure you can easily integrate into your setup.
Features
- Classic analog string ensemble synthesizer from the ‘70s
- Authentic reproduction of original ARP/Eminent Solina MK II* circuitry
- Legendary chorus ensemble effect featuring multi-stage Bucket Brigade Devices (BBDs) for rich and lively sounds
Within the SOLINA STRING ENSEMBLE, we’ve integrated a multi-stage Bucket Brigade chorus that closely replicates the original modulation sound. To add to that, we just had to add, not just any phaser, but a faithfully recreated Small Stone phaser with its own dedicated rate control. Apart from a classic revival, we wanted you to be able to integrate the SOLINA STRING ENSEMBLE into your setup quickly and easily which is why it comes with comprehensive MIDI implementation, channel and voice priority selection, as well as modulation outputs.
