Antares PUNCH Evo

Antares PUNCH Evo is a unique processor that, as its name implies, lets you quickly and easily give your vocal more dynamic impact, allowing it to cut through a dense mix with clarity and power.

Combining advanced dynamic processing with an incredibly easy-to-use interface, Antares PUNCH Evo gives professional results while letting you focus on your music.

“…you can nail the level of a vocal track in a mix without being a compression wizard…If you can’t get your vocal to sit in a track using this, it’s probably deficient in some other way.”

Antares PUNCH Evo is a smart dynamics processor that is designed to optimize the level of a vocal track to allow it to cut through a dense mix with power and clarity. It provides a combination of compression, gain, limiting, and overload protection with a user interface designed for speed and simplicity.

All with only three simple controls:

Gain
This control allows you to increase the gain of your vocal.

Impact
This is where the magic happens. This control lets you select the amount of “punch” that is added to the vocal. As you increase the value of this control, level variations in the vocal performance are equalized and their level raised.

Ceiling
This control allows you to attenuate the signal after all other processing. Although PUNCH Evo allows you to create a full- level signal without risk of ugly distortion, it will usually be wise to apply at least a little attenuation here to allow yourself some room for any further processing that might apply gain.

• Pro Tools 7.x to 10.x (except Pro Tools SE and M‑Powered Essential, which do not accept 3rd party plug-ins).
• Mac OS 10.5.8 to 10.9.5 as required by your version of Pro Tools.

VST
• A certified compatible VST host program that supports the VST3 format.
• Mac OS 10.6.8 to 10.11 as required by your host.

Audio Units
• A certified compatible host program that supports the Audio Units format.
• Mac OS 10.6.8 to 10.11 as required by your host.

The VST and AU versions can operate in both 64-bit and 32-bit modes.
