Chandler EMI TG12345 Curve Bender EQ
The Chandler Limited EMI TG12345 Curve Bender EQ is a modern recreation of the legendary TG12345 equalizer from the iconic EMI console used to produce classics by The Beatles and Pink Floyd. Conceived by Chandler designer Wade Goeke in collaboration with Abbey Road engineer Peter Cobbin, this EQ extends the tradition of EMI equalizers dating back to the RS56 from 1951. Inspired by the simplicity yet rich sound of the original, this 19-inch rackmount EQ offers four bands with 51 selectable EQ points, surpassing the original’s 9 selections, and a multiply switch that boosts cut/boost to 15dB with a sharper Q factor.
Optimized for today’s studios, the Curve Bender includes high and low band bell/shelf selections, and filters based on the original TG desk’s slopes, making it ideal for mastering, mixing, and recording applications. This dual-channel solid-state EQ combines classic Abbey Road sound with flexible, advanced controls to deliver a powerful and versatile EQ solution for audio professionals.
