The Roswell Pro Audio SDC‑84 is a high-quality pencil condenser microphone inspired by the beloved vintage Neumann KM84 design. Unlike ultra-neutral microphones, the SDC-84 is voiced to emphasise musical character and warmth, making it a favourite for recording acoustic instruments and stringed sources.

The circuit subtly controls fast transients, gently compressing higher-SPL peaks to produce a smooth, musical response. This characteristic makes the SDC-84 especially effective on acoustic guitars, where it captures detail while maintaining a balanced, natural tone.
